We propose to open a brand new, family owned, independent pharmacy in the heart of Burdiehouse. We already have a small group of pharmacies in the Edinburgh area and absolutely love being a part of our local communities.

We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of pharmacy services and our ethos is to always exceed your expectations and always go the extra mile for each and every person we meet.

However, we cannot open our new pharmacy in Burdiehouse, as the NHS regulations do not allow this, therefore we need the support of you and the Burdiehouse community.

Burdiehouse Pharmacy Proposal

We have a proposal in place to open a brand new, family owned , independent community pharmacy in the heart of Burdiehouse. We already have pharmacies in the Edinburgh area, where we always go the extra mile for every person we meet.

Our Proposed Site

We propose to open our brand new pharmacy at 203 Greenwell Wynd, Burdiehouse. If we are successful in our application, Burdiehouse Pharmacy will be modern, fast, efficient and of the highest standard.

Our Proposed Services

We cannot simply open a pharmacy here as the NHS regulations do not allow it. We must prove that a new pharmacy in this area is both necessary and desirable. We collect prescriptions multiple times daily from all surrounding GP surgeries for free and our unique delivery service is free to everyone, to all areas 6 days a week. If successful in our proposal to open our new pharmacy in Burdiehouse, we would do the same for the whole community.

Our 24/7 collection robot will allow you to collect your prescription at your convenience- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It is so easy to sign up to the service and if we are lucky enough to be granted our new pharmacy in Burdiehouse, we will put this robot in right away.

Pharmacy First is free to everyone in Scotland and allows the pharmacist to prescribe medication to treat all minor ailments and common clinical conditions.

We will have no waiting lists for blister packs and our service is free to everyone in all areas. Immediate start available on all blister packs. If successful in our proposal to open our new pharmacy in Burdiehouse, we will do the same for the whole community.
